My Nissan Leaf had a problem and would no longer charge. I was pretty sure what was wrong, but wanted to have Vertical take a look as well. They confirmed the issue and replaced the damaged part at a fraction of what it would have cost at a dealer. It's hard to find a good mechanic, but even harder to find one who knows and works on electric vehicles. Niya and Alier kept me informed and were in constant communication throughout the process. Paid for a full diagnostic a few months ago, got started on recommended work, and this week I requested they resend the quote so I can continue working on repairs my car needs incrementally. They resent the quote and took my appointment but once I was there in person hit me with a considerable upcharge and told me my quote was only good for 30 days. Could have mentioned that when I asked you to resend it and booked worked based off it. Wasted my time and money driving to the shop only to leave without agreeing to any work.

My first trip to the second location and it was fantastic. The shop is very well laid out and clean. Of course Laz keeps it all under control in a professional and courteous manner. I love getting photo documentation to back up the service. When the service was done, all the clips went back and the work area was cleaned up. The dealership has never paid that much attention to detail and that's why Vertical wins my business.

Shop is a complete SCAM. My car was running perfect I just came in for an oil change and tune up. They told me they can repair a few other things that “they noticed”. I agreed. But after picking up my car it drove terrible and did not want to properly accelerate. I bring this to their attention and they said I can bring it in a few days (no urgency on their end for their mistake) so they can check it out. I bring it and they cannot find the problem(Wasted time$) . The experience so far is sketchy so I take my car to a trusted family mechanic(lives far) to have him revise their work. He discovers that something’s that they charged me for WERE NEVER DONE AND EVEN DUPLICATED (charged twice$$). Charged me for TWO OUTPUT SEALS and didn’t even actually do the repair until I started to question them. Eventually they did refund me for the second part only after I brought it to their attention (not when my actual trusted mechanic came and brought it to their attention) . COMPLETE SCAM. Would NEVER recommend

Took my Tesla for an alignment and they did a great job. While other places wouldn't even do an alignment for a Tesla or didn't know how to do it, Vertical Automotive had the expertise and a great price. They were significantly cheaper and they got it done within the week unlike the dealer who wanted me to wait three weeks for an appointment.

We decided to try this auto shop after dealing with an ongoing headache with our car. There was a noticeable delay whenever we tried to accelerate, and one of the tail lights had also stopped working properly. We honestly weren’t sure how serious the acceleration issue was, so we were already expecting a long list of repairs and a pretty expensive bill. The team inspected the car, found the cause of both problems, and explained everything to us in a way that actually made sense. They didn’t just throw a bunch of technical terms around or make the issues sound worse than they were. What I appreciated the most was that there was no pressure and no unnecessary upselling. They told us what needed to be repaired, what could wait, and gave us a clear idea of the cost before doing anything. After the work was completed, the acceleration felt normal again and the tail light was working perfectly. The car has been running much better since then, and its honestly such a relief. Finding a mechanic that does honest work and doesn’t try to take advantage of customers can be difficult, but these guys were straightforward, professional, and helpful from beginning to end. Definitely a shop we would trust and come back to.

took the X5 in expecting just an alignment — ended up needing suspension work and new tires too. They caught it during the inspection and showed me pics before doing anything, so no surprise charges. Car drives straight now and the ride feels way better. These guys actually know BMWs, not just plugging in a generic code reader. Fort Lauderdale location, done same day. Would go back.

Very good service and replacement part is working

I have been going to Vertical for Several years. Their knowledge of my vehicle is incredible. If you want to get top-of-the-line work done with a great savings over what the dealer charges, come to Vertical. On the downside, we are moving to North Florida this week and unfortunately will not have Vertical to take care of our car. We will miss them.

I recently had two cars serviced at vertical Automotive, a 2017 Buick encore and a 2018 Lexus NX300 Services and maintenance performed on both cars included spark plug replacement, induction service, oil filter unit housing replacement (that was causing an oil leak), transmission fluid replacement, four wheel alignment, tire rotation, battery replacement, tire pressure monitor sensors replaced, power door lock repair. Despite the extensive repairs and maintenance that was overdue, I thought the pricing was very fair. I love the inspection report. The inspection report prioritize the services and maintenance recommendations based on urgency. I never felt pressure to get anything that I didn't want. Niya kept us very informed at all times about the status of both cars and kept us updated about any issues that were encounted and she was also very responsive to responding to text messages and phone calls. Vertical Automotive is very trustworthy and provided excellent quality work. Everything was fixed right the first time. I have a new auto garage. Thank you, vertical Automotive. Highly recommend.
